Introduction to Composites

This class is designed for people new to the composites industry as well as people experienced with composites who wish to learn about newer materials and techniques. In addition to a detailed look at composite materials, resins, fiberglass reinforcements, and core materials, this class will offer an opportunity to explore various fabrication methods. During the lab portion of this class participants will work on identifying and troubleshooting simulated infusion problems and will begin to work on repair methods. The class is approximately 50% theory and 50% lab.
