MSEA is a member run organization. Whether at the chapter/local level, annual convention, standing committees or statewide Board of Directors, rank and file members set the union's goals, vote on budgets and establish the policies which guide our union. In addition to our publications, meetings are held throughout the State to keep all members informed, plan activities and stay in touch on key issues. We are active and retired workers of Maine State Governments' Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branches, Maine State Retirement System, Maine Community College System, Maine Maritime Academy, Maine Turnpike Authority, City of Lewiston, Green Valley Association, Treats Falls, York County, Alpha One, Home Care for Maine, Governor Baxter School for the Deaf, Maine Military Authority, Red Cross-Bangor, Waldo County, Child Development Services and Maine's Family Child Care providers. Our membership is expanding as more workers who provide services to the people of the State of Maine organize under our banner.
