"The Economic Development Division (EDD), a division of the City's Planning and Development Department, offers comprehensive business assistance focusing on financing, business development, business recruitment, site selection, and marketing. The EDD will serve as your guide and advocate through all aspects of business development. All business assistance services are free and confidential. The EDD business assistance center gives existing companies and start-ups free access to a range of resources. Clients can receive one-on-one counseling on how to plan and launch a business; take a course or attend a workshop; visit our library of business publications and videos; and, use our state-of-the art computer facilities with Internet access."
